38th Annual H. Bruce Ostler Association of Proctor Fellows Meeting
This years APF meeting will be held at the Marconi Conference Center, Marshall, California, from Saturday morning, June 9 through Sunday morning, June 10, 2012. As you know, this gathering also serves as our fellows’ graduation and to share professional knowledge, renew old connections, make new acquaintances and enjoy each other’s company.
We are fortunate to have Shahzad Mian, MD, delivering the Ralph and Sophie Heintz Lecture this year.

Mitchell Friedlaender (Proctor 1976-1978), Chairman of Ophthalmology at the Scripps Clinic, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2011 after a very brief and sudden illness.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and a great friend.
He was an exceptional doctor, ophthalmologist, clinician, scientist and teacher.
He was a wonderful person, gentleman - gentle man, and kind soul.
He will be missed.
