Nisha Acharya, MD, MS

Dr. Acharya is the Director of the Ocular Inflammatory Disease and Uveitis Clinic and specializes in the diagnosis and management of patients with infectious and inflammatory eye diseases. She has experience with the latest medical and surgical treatments for uveitis. To optimally care for her patients, Dr. Acharya uses a collaborative approach, working with rheumatologists, internists, dermatologists, pulmonologists and pediatricians.

Matilda F. Chan, MD, PhD

Dr. Chan’s clinical practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ocular surface and eyelids. This includes patients with corneal ulcers, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, Sjogren’s syndrome, blepharitis, and meibomian gland disease.

Jeremy Keenan, MD

Dr. Keenan has a comprehensive ophthalmology practice, and has subspecialty training in medical and surgical cornea, as well as uveitis. 

Thomas M. Lietman, MD

Dr. Lietman specializes in the diagnosis and management of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the conjunctiva and cornea, in particular conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers.

Todd P. Margolis, MD, PhD

Dr. Margolis' consultative practice is limited to the diagnosis and management of patients with infectious and inflammatory eye disease. This includes patients with red eyes, corneal disease and uveitis. Dr. Margolis has a particular interest in eye problems caused by herpes simplex and varicella zoster (shingles) viruses, and eye problems that occur in immune compromised individuals.

Nancy McNamara, OD, PhD

Dr. McNamara’s clinical practice includes routine and specialty contact lens fits, primary vision care, and the management of inflammatory ocular surface and lid disease, including blepharitis, meibomian gland disease and dry eye.

Ira G. Wong, MD

Dr. Wong's primary practice involves treating these disorders at the Proctor Foundation. He also provides consultative services to Stanford University Medical Center in cornea, external diseases of the eye and uveitis services. Because many ocular inflammatory diseases are part of a systemic disorder he collaborates with pediatricians, internists and rheumatolgists in monitoring treatment.
