Dr. Sarah Lopez is an optometrist at the Francis I. Proctor Foundation, where she teaches ophthalmology fellows and residents as well as optometry students. Her clinical interests center on infectious and inflammatory eye disease, and she works closely with the Foundation's uveitis and cornea specialists in both clinic and research.
Originally from Texas, she graduated from Texas A&M University and earned her optometry degree at UC Berkeley, then completed an ocular disease residency at the Brooklyn VA Hospital in New York City. She has been on the Proctor faculty since 2015.
