Dr. Acharya is the Director of the Ocular Inflammatory Disease and Uveitis Clinic and specializes in the diagnosis and management of patients with infectious and inflammatory eye diseases. She has experience with the latest medical and surgical treatments for uveitis. To optimally care for her patients, Dr. Acharya uses a collaborative approach, working with rheumatologists, internists, dermatologists, pulmonologists and pediatricians.
Matilda F. Chan, MD, PhD
Dr. Chan’s clinical practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ocular surface and eyelids. This includes patients with corneal ulcers, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, Sjogren’s syndrome, blepharitis, and meibomian gland disease.

John Gonzales, MD
Dr. Gonzales's interest involves the diagnosis and management of infectious and non-infectious inflammatory conditions of the eyes (uveitis). Many ocular inflammatory diseases are part of a systemic disorder and require a complete review of one’s health, personalized treatment, and close monitoring. Working as a team with a patient’s rheumatologist, internist, pediatrician, or other subspecialists ensure that his patients receive optimum care.
Thomas M. Lietman, MD
Dr. Lietman specializes in the diagnosis and management of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the conjunctiva and cornea, in particular conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers.

Gerami D. Seitzman, MD
Dr. Seitzman is a clinician, educator, and research scientist whose clinical areas of interest include infectious and inflammatory diseases of the cornea and ocular surface. She also specializes in cornea and external disease manifestations of systemic conditions. She is an award-winning teacher. Her research interests include dry eye, ocular rosacea, and infections of the conjunctiva and cornea. She is the director of our Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery Fellowship Program and the medical director of our Proctor medical clinics.
