Dr Sié is a medical doctor and epidemiologist. He is the director of the Nouna Health Research center, one of the major research institution of the Ministry Of Health in Burkina Faso. His main research areas are clinical epidemiology of infectious diseases as well as health system research. He also has a growing interest in the environment and how it contributes to health issues. Dr Sié is leading the Nouna health and demographic surveillance system established since 1992 and a member of the INDEPTH Network.
