About

Dr. Seitzman is a cornea and external disease specialist at the F.I. Proctor Foundation. She also cares for patients with cornea and external disease diagnoses in the UCSF Department of Ophthalmology.

A native of Michigan, she earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Michigan. After an internal medicine internship, she completed her ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins, then a further year of medical and surgical fellowship in cornea, external disease, and uveitis at the Proctor Foundation. She returned to Baltimore after fellowship, serving as part-time Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Wilmer and full-time Director of Cornea, External Disease, and Uveitis at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, before rejoining UCSF as faculty. She enjoys teaching, communication, and patient care.
